After several years of writing a mixture of mainstream fiction mixed with urban flavor, its Founder, Cynthia Marcano, quickly found the lack of opportunities for representation for authors like her, wanting to express her roots while storytelling. Motivated to knock down barriers, she initiated and co-published a Christmas compilation with three other authors highlighting Latino culture with a small measure of success, when it reached #1 Bestseller status in its category on Amazon. The accomplishment fueled her desire to continue to break down walls and build urban culture writing. she wanted our tales and real life stories to have their rightful place in the world. Thus Urban House Publishing was born.
Likewise its now subsidiary, Feeding Thousands Published, established in 2016, was formed as a need to brand Cynthia's unique Christian Fiction books with Latin flavor. It now caters to Christian authors whose work doesn't quite fit mainstream Christian works.
